Pete first got interested in music through listening to his elder sister's records, Beatles mainly, then Canned Heat , Cream, Deep Purple, ZZ top and Moody Blues got me interested in the Blues. He was introduced to Rock n Roll through Elvis Presley.

At 14 years old he persuaded his Mum to buy him a guitar for Xmas and latter and old upright piano (thanks Mum!).

The first guitar solo that he learnt was from 'Ride a White Swan' T Rex. Mum & Dad really got to enjoy that solo…

Pete got into a few bands at school and by the age of 17 was regularly gigging with a Rock band called Billy Whizz.
He played professionally for a few years but that was too much like work: now it's just for fun.

Some of Pete's main guitarist influences: Richie Blackmore, Brian May, Rory Gallegher, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, of course Jimi Hendrix.

Pete's first proper guitar was a Gibson SG special which is now owned by Peter Goodie. Later when he could afford it he bought a Fender Stratocaster.

Down the years Pete has also supported various professional artists, including Mud and Billy J Kramer and the Dacottas. His most prestigious gig was at the original Marque Club in Wardour St London with a band called Suffragette. Have also gigged with Geoff Whitehorn and Roger Chapman.
